Internship

The Company

During my internship, I had the opportunity to work at IT-DATA and observe how people work in back-end and front-end web development.
My tutor, Claudio Mottes, introduced me to the CSS library UIkit and explained how it works. He also helped me understand the jQuery library for JavaScript.

Front-end

I started my internship by improving my knowledge of HTML and CSS through online tutorials and the official UIkit guides. I learned how a modern web page is structured and managed. Responsiveness and grid layouts were the main foundations of the first part of my training.

Back-end

In the second part of my internship, I developed a small server-side platform. I worked with languages such as PHP and JavaScript, and I also managed a small MySQL database through phpMyAdmin. This allowed me to practise running database queries with PHP.
